Hey all,
First I want to appologize if a board of this exact same content has already been thought of. I'm looking for an accessible phone that doesn't use Mobile speak, sense I can't afford a phone that needs that software. I'm looking for a phone that is accessible such as reads the menus, you can check your missed calls, battery life etc as well as is able to support creating ring tones from mp3's I already have. I'm looking at the samson glene or the env2, but not sure which phone to get. If anyone has any other suggestions of any other phones that verizon has that might be better for this purpose, please let me know

Thanks,
Kat

I belong to an LG e-mail list. I just have the LG5400, but many people on the list have more advanced models and might be able to answer your questions. Send a blank e-mail with the word subscribe in the subject line to BlindusersLGVXPhones-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. You can ask all sorts of questions about any LG phone. I learned to use my phone from the list but have stayed on to hear about any new phones on the market. But you can drop off as soon as you find out what you want to know.

I have the ENV 2 and I love it. All you have to do is have some one from verizon to set your prompt level to "read all prompts" I can read, send, and recieve texts, check my missed calls, time, battery, and other things. I can also assign ring tones to individuals which is neat. I can also go through and choose my own ringtones from my list. Well, good luck.
